Evelyn's Story
From Struggle to Success
In 2023, we met Evelyn, a bright young girl with big dreams. After her father passed away, her mother was left to care for six children alone. She sold produce on the streets but struggled to provide for her family. Life took a difficult turn for Evelyn. With her mother unable to afford her tuition, she began struggling in her classes and was at risk of being removed from school due to unpaid fees. That’s when EmpowerHer Education Fund stepped in. Pour Global covered Evelyn’s tuition and sent extra support for personal essentials. With this help, her grades improved, her confidence grew, and she became a leader in extracurricular activities. Evelyn recently passed all 10 subjects in her Ordinary Level exams and is now pursuing advanced studies for college entrance. We are still assisting with her tuition as she works toward her dream of higher education. Thanks to sponsorship, Evelyn is no longer failing—she is thriving, leading, and building a future for herself and her family.
